Incidence of MS are three times more in women👱‍♀ as compared to men👨 मल्टीपल स्क्लेरोसिस एक मस्तिष्क सम्बन्धी विकार है जो केंद्रीय तंत्रिका तंत्र ( सेंट्रल नर्वस सिस्टम) में स्थित माइलिन शीथ को प्रभावित करता है.   यह रोग सामान्यतः वयस्कों ( २० - ४० वर्ष) में होता है. मल्टीपल स्क्लेरोसिस से पीड़ित व्यक्ति के मस्तिष्क एवं स्पाइनल कॉर्ड में मौजूद में सुरक्षात्मक कवच पट्टिका ( माइलिन शीथ) का क्षरण होने लगता है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप नसों की सन्देश-वाहक क्षमता प्रभावित हो जाती है. मस्तिष्क से उचित सन्देश न मिलने की स्थिति में व्यक्ति की शारीरिक क्षमताएं कम होने लगती है. International Day for Biological Diversity (World Biodiversity Day) is observed every year on 22nd May, to raise awareness about the issues related with helping and preserving biological diversity all across the globe.
